Yes, Hungary is a Schengen country. Visas and residence permits issued by Hungary are valid in all Schengen states, including Switzerland. The currency in Hungary is the Hungarian Forint (HUF), with approximately 400 forints equal to 1 euro.
Yes, with a valid Hungarian residence permit, you can visit all 28 Schengen states for business or tourism purposes, staying up to 90 days within any 180-day period. You can also live in these countries for a maximum of 180 days within a 6-month period.
